Aim of the Course

The basic objectives of the education of the B.E. (Computer Science & Engineering) programme is to provide the technical and management knowledge basis for acquiring a wide range of rewarding careers into the rapidly expanding world of computer engineering.

The course enables students to understand the practices and dynamics required to develop software, whether it is a single program or a major software product developed in a team environment. The course emphasizes reasonably on fundamental ideas through which technology is built and evolved.

  • The students begin their careers as programmers, system analyst, software designers.
  • Career Opportunities Exist in such areas as system software and networking applications.
  • Application areas include forecasting and simulations, advance database management decision support and data communication, multimedia systems, computer graphics and gaming application, object oriented technology and component ware of various areas, which would help the students to build software applications on it.
  • Students also have opportunities to work for factory automation system.
