NNSC-2014 Is National Network Security Championship and a workshop series jointly being organized by Association for Computer Machinery, IIT-Delhi and Network Bulls, Gurgaon. All the preliminary rounds will be held at various esteemed Engineering institutes across INDIA For Central India, Govindrao Wanjari College of Engineering & Technology Nagpur is appointed as Zonal Center. The championship was organised on 11th & 12th Sept 2013 at the campus where Shubham Shahu of GWCET was adjudged as Zonal Topper. In present academic year and the grand finale will be organized at IIT Delhi in the month of April 2014.

IURL – 2014 or Indo US Robo League 2014 is an International Robotic championship & was organised in collaboration with Technophilia & RCAi, USA with the help of IIT Bombay. IURL 14 was organised on 10th & 11th January 2014 at the GWCET campus & was participated by students of various reputed engineering colleges of Nagpur. The league was initiated by a workshop on Autobotz AVR followed by competition in which out of 15 winner, 10 were from GWCET who will represent the College in the finals which will be held in IIT Bombay on 22nd & 23rd Mar 14
